Liechtenstein walked with you to school, along with Switzerland; just like you 3 have done every day for the past 10 years. You and Liechtenstein were in the 10th grade, and you both were certainly old enough to go to school on your own, but you both knew Switzerland well enough. There was no way he was going to let you and Liechtenstein walk to school alone; mainly because of the fact that you both were "young" girls. It was 7:45, and you were only 10 minutes from school. You knew Switzerland didn't want to spend money on bus tickets, so he had you both walk, with him by your side, of course. You and Liechtenstein held hands while Switzerland walked behind you two. You and her would talk and sing and make jokes all the way to school. It was always fun going to school with Liechtenstein and Switzerland; for they kept you great company and protection. You always felt safe with them, and you were so accustomed to having them around. You laughed as Liechtenstein told you about her most embarrassing moments, trying not to; but it was alright. She'd gotten over them, and soon, she was laughing with you.
The 3 of you came to a cross walk, and Switzerland made sure that you both stayed in the white lines on the street, and not an inch too close to it, nor an inch too far from it. You were basically in the middle of the cross walk. You and Liechtenstein skipped with each other across the street, making it to the other side long before Switzerland did. He was speed walking as you two waited.
"C'mon Vash! We won't make it to school on time at that pace." You teased his pace, trying to make him smile.
"Oh please ___…you two have plenty of time." It didn't work; he kept the same poker face as usual. But that didn't stop you.
"Awww…is someone grumpy 'cause they didn't get enough sleep last night?" You spoke like a baby to him, and Liechtenstein started snickering in the back ground.
"What? I got the perfect amount of sleep last night, if I do say so myself."
"Oookaayyy…whatever you say, Vash." You turned to face forward again, speeding up to Liechtenstein. She started giggling after peeking at Switzerland again. You did after her as well, laughing louder by the second. His face was as red as a tomato, and you both found it quite hilarious. These were the kind of reasons why you loved teasing Switzerland. You and Liechtenstein had approached the school, just a few feet before Switzerland. He walked you both to the front entrance, you both said goodbye, and he was off. You both were right on time; only 5 minutes before the bell was going to ring. You and Liechtenstein ran up to Latvia. He shared 1st, 3rd, and 6th period with you. Liechtenstein was only in your 1st and 3rd, but you three were like the Three Muskuteers when it came to friendship. Of course, Lithuania and Estonia would come around, but they mainly hung around Poland; they were their own trio. Plus, they were 11th graders, and you guys were in 10th grade..
Once the bell ran, you 3 made your way to 1st period; History. It was always fun in History class; mainly because the topic you were in was about interchangeable parts in a gun, like a musket. Guns always reminded you of Switzerland, and even Liechtenstein at times; you were really good with guns, as well. You remembered the first time she tried to use one of Switzerland's guns; you both got in huge trouble. But when you'd look back at it, it'd make you laugh. You loved the memories you'd shared with those two; you loved them to death. After day dreaming in History, the bell rung and it snapped you back into reality. You made your way to your 2nd period after saying goodbye to Liechtenstein and Latvia. They shared 2nd period together; Science. You made your way to P.E., and as you watched the 2 walk off together, you realized how adorable they'd be if they were a couple. Switzerland caught your head again; you'd been thinking about him a lot lately. In every period, you made time for day dreaming; it was mainly about Switzerland. You thought about how he protected you both, about how he was so cute when you'd teased him, about how determined and mature he was, especially for his age.
That was the kind of thing girls liked about boys. But you couldn't believe it; you were hitting on Switzerland. You'd known him for 10 years, you were more than great friends with his little sister; and you'd just found out that you were attracted to him. It wasn't just the way he held himself. It was also his good looks. You never realized how much you adored his long, blonde hair, his clean uniform in which he'd kept perfect each time he wore it, and the way he talked with you and around you. He was comfortable with being himself, no matter who was around. And because he was good with guns, and had a huge collection, no one messed with him, or any of you. School had ended, and you couldn't wait for Switzerland to walk you home, along with Liechtenstein. You saw him waiting for you both, and you smiled. He was just too cute and adorable to not stare at. You grabbed Liechtenstein and ran over to him.
"Hey Vash!"
"Hi there big broder!" You two were so happy and cheerful as usual. You giggled at Liechtenstein's adorable accent, wishing you had a very similar one. She was just too cute.
"Hey you two." He still had the same expression; poker face. You were amazed at how long it's been since you last saw him smile. That's when it hit you; you'd never seen him smile. He walked behind you two, keeping an eye on you both, and you and Liechtenstein talked about that same old thing. That's when you brought interchangeable parts in guns, and how the amazing Eli Whitney  was extremely smart to have thought of it. You took your guns for granted, not realizing how much hard work was put into each and every one of them.
"Can you believe it Lily? Eli's interchangeable parts are what made muskets a heck of a lot faster to use during war. It's really cool once you think about it."
"Yeah! All those small parts in a single gun. Big broder deals with those all the time; whenever he has to fix the trigger and replace it if it has a crack."
"Oh I'm sure! Same thing goes with me." That caught Switzerland's full attention. He'd already known what interchangeable parts were, but when he'd heard you had a gun, he was all ears. "With more than one exact part, it's easier to replace parts of a gun. I'm so glad this man had lived and invented such a thing."
"Haha yeah! I know…without history, where would we be now?" You were only a few feet from your house, and you waved goodbye to the both of them, thanking them. You walked in the house, and you ran to look out the window to watch them walk off. You smiled, noticing how adorable Liechtenstein was and how handsome Switzerland was. You felt your face turning red, so you closed the curtain and left to your room. You passed your dad, who said good afternoon. You replied with a cheerful good afternoon as you continued to your room to do your homework. Liechtenstein walked home with her wonderful big brother, Switzerland. She told him about what she was learning in history, and how that was relative to him. It wasn't a surprise to him, but that didn't mean anything to Liechtenstein. She continued to talk to him about interchangeable parts; she even asked questions about his guns and how he replaced them.
"You know, ___ is really good with guns, too!" He looked at her in shock, but then he tried to shrug it off, hoping Liechtenstein hadn't noticed his shock. He tried to act as if it didn't bother him.
"She is, is she? That's…wonderful."
"I know! I…I was wondering if we could have her over tomorrow; I want to see how good with guns she really is. She's told me so much about it, but I never got to see it for myself. Plus, she's bringing her own guns this time."
"No! The last time we had her over, you had my gun and you almost shot a bird. You both clearly don't know how to carry guns, that's for sure."
"But please! That was over 6 years ago; she's much better with guns, and that time wasn't her fault. She just took the blame for me. I really want to see her skill in guns, but for reals this time, big broder. You can watch if you'd like." They were almost home already; she'd been begging to have you over throughout the entire walk home.
"Okay fine! But she can only handle the guns out in the back where the forest is, and she can only practice right after school, when you both get here so that she can shoot without disturbing any animals; they come out around noon."
"Okid okie!"
"And, you must stand behind the fence this time. I don't want you two getting hurt again, especially out there. And no wandering around in the forest when you're finished."
"Got it!"
"Oh! Make sure she doesn't leave any guns out or bullets out; she must put them away."
"Okay, big broder!" She hopped inside, excited for the next day so you could come over.
"Wait, Lily! You have to call her first and ask for permission." She stopped hopping and turned around.
"You're right." She smiled as she made her way to the phone and dialed your number. She sat on the chair, kicking her feet back and fourth. Your dad picked up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello? Mr. ___?
"Yes. Lily, right?"
"Yes, it's me."
"Hey Lily! How are you and Vash?"
"We're wonderful! And you?"
"Oh, I'm just fine. Did you want to talk to ___?"
"Well, no. I was actually calling to ask of your permission for ___; Big broder and I were wondering if she could come over after school tomorrow, if it's alright with you, of course." She twiddled her fingers in the telephone wire as she hoped your dad would say yes.
"Hmmm…sure! There's nothing going on tomorrow. Is there something going on for you over there?"
"Not really. It's just that I wanted to see how ___ has improved with her skill in guns."
"Ohohoho! It's about guns, is it? That sounds like a lot of fun! ___ and I love talking about guns. Listen, she can definitely head to your place after school to practice. I know how much your brother loves guns as well. You 3 will have a blast."
"Ok! Thank you, Mr. ___! We'll have her home by 6 in the evening."
"Alright! Tell Vash I said hello, and you two have a wonderful day."
"I will, and you too Mr. ___. Bye."
"Goodbye, Lily." And with that, they both hung up. Your dad made his way through the hallway to let you know that you were going to Lily's the next day, and you jumped for joy. You couldn't wait to hang out with her and show her how well you've gotten with guns. It was a shock to her that you were good with them when you two were younger, but she'd completely forgotten you knew more than usual about guns. So, you weren't really going to show her how much you've improved; you were actually going to show her your official skill with guns for the first time. The incident 3 years before didn't count.
You woke up, excited for the end of the school. You got ready, waiting for Switzerland and Liechtenstein to arrive. You could see them across the street from your house, and you walked out your front door with toast in your mouth. You waved goodbye to your dad who was reading the newspaper and drinking his coffee, just like in cartoons and movies. You bit off a piece right before they stepped on the sidewalk in front of your lawn.
"Hi ___!" You waved as you tried to chew faster and swallow. Once you did, you could actually smile and reply to Liechtenstein.
"Hi Lily, hello Vash." You and Liechtenstein jumped and held each others' wrists, happy to see each other. You both talk all about what you were going to do at her house, and about guns as well. Switzerland was quite shocked at your knowledge about guns, but he was being a but stubborn; he didn't think a girl your age would even think about guns, and he didn't really want to. He assumed you were only at a beginner's level, so he thought it through and told you both he wasn't going to watch you.
"Big broder, why not?! It'd be more fun with you there. Plus, you'll get to see how good she is with guns!" That made you blush a little. You were never the one to brag about anything, especially about any talent or skill with anything.
"Oh stop, Lily." You and her giggled and talked about your skill, but you tried to hide it by asking her to stop over and over. Meanwhile, Switzerland walked on with a straight face thinking 'Yeah, Lily. Stop. PLEASE.' You were finally at school, ready to take on the day and get it over with. All you thought about was guns, but you mainly thought about Switzerland. You couldn't tell if you were falling for him, there was plenty of other guys out there who loved guns, and who weren't so darn serious. But you had a special attraction to Switzerland, and only Switzerland.
Once school was over, you and Liechtenstein said goodbye to Latvia, and hello to Switzerland. You both talked all about guns on your way to their place. The walk didn't even feel as long. You both were so excited and full of energy, and you couldn't wait to get your hands on your guns, ready to show Liechtenstein what you were made of.
"Oh, ___! Do you know what else we could after your gun practice? We can make chocolate from scratch!" Your jaw had dropped; you loved chocolate so much, you couldn't imagine making it from scratch. "You know how to make it from scratch?!"
"Well, not really me, but big broder knowns everything about it!" You both were twice as stoked; Switzerland had to calm you both down. Once you both got home, you called your dad to have him bring the guns. He was there in less than 5 minutes with the gear and everything, and you both were so happy. Your dad left, and you put your gear on before walking outside. Liechtenstein told you about the rules Switzerland told her about, and then you both were set.
"Big broder, are you sure you don't want to watch?" She had her hands tied behind her back as she asked politely.
"Ugh…Yes. I'm certain, Lily. Now you two go out there and have your fun. Just remember to be safe."
"Oookkkaayyy, big broder." With that, she ran out the door and followed behind you. You opened the gate and closed it behind you where you saw Liechtenstein standing. She had an ear to ear smile on her face. You had a shot gun positioned in your your hands, which had black leather gloves on them; it helped strengthen your grip on the gun. You held it precisely, blocking out all of your surroundings. You focused your eye on the bulls eye, where you noticed many holes around it, but none directly on it. You had your thumb steady on the trigger, just about ready to snap it back. You pulled it back and began to count back from 3.
"3…2…1" BOOM! You hit the bulls eye, and Liechtenstein jumped and rejoiced. You smiled at her, waving to her and jumping yourself. After shooting at every target, you switched guns. You were now holding your favorite gun; the sniper. There were hills of grass that surrounded the fence in which you were shooting in. It was like a stadium. You could see the hidden targets behind the tall trees, as well as behind bushes. There were also wires in the air that had fake birds on to them, You'd asked Liechtenstein about it, and she told you that it was an automatic training system that Switzerland had used.
"Wow. I've never heard of those."
"That's because not many people have these kinds of things. We built it together, with the help of some of his friends. He didn't to spend any money on it."
"Hahaha…that sounds like Vash, alright."
"Hahaha…it's just who he is."
"So, how does it work?"
"Ok. We have this key that he has me put in and turn to turn everything on. The wires start moving with the birds attached, and you start shooting from where you're at. You can change the speed and amount of birds on a wire. The point is to try and shoot as many birds as possible. It's kind of like a game."
"I'll say! That's amazing! Can I try?"
"Of course! I can't wait to see how many birds you shoot. The most big broder has ever gotten was 24 out of 30 birds on level 2. There're 3 levels, by the way."
"Wow. That's a lot of birds."
"Yeah. I was impressed. But he wasn't."
"So, do I start on level 1?"
"Yes, since this is your first time. Level 1's wire goes by at 20 inches per second. As fast as that sounds, they're 'birds'. They fly a lot faster; plus, no matter how many birds are on a wire, they separated with a certain distance in between. It all depends on the level and the amount of birds."
"Oh…sounds fun! Can I try level 3 with 30 birds?"
"What?! You're already asking for such a challenge ___?" You were so up for it. You wanted to beat Switzerland's record.
"Yeah, pretty much Lily. Just put me on level 3 with 30 birds."
"Ok…but I must warn you. They fly pretty fast."
"How fast?"
"5 feet per 20 seconds."
"Wow…okay! I'll do it." She got the key from Switzerland, letting him know about what had just happened. You grabbed your sniper and made your way up the steps on the side of the hills of grass. You ran behind one of the rocks; it faced the wires directly. You looked down to where Liechtenstein was; she made her way to the ignition for the key, putting it in and turning it. You moved the lever down to the 3rd level, and you focused your eyes on the wires. You heard the wires moving, and suddenly the first bird was there. You kept your eye on it for 2 seconds, and bam! You shot it right in the head. Soon enough, 3 other birds were in front of you, and you shot all 3; one after another. More and more were in front of you, and you shot each and every one of them. After 27 birds, the last 3 were extremely fast. They came around 3 times, and each time, you got one. Except for the 30th bird. You didn't shoot it.
After a few minutes, you ran down the steps to meet up with Liechtenstein. She was dumbstruck  at your so called progress. She couldn't speak, and you were red again. You snapped in front of her a few times, and she finally snapped out of it. She hugged you and complimented you on how well you'd done. You got 29 out of 30 birds on level 3, and it was only your first try! You were way too good with guns. Afterward. you put everything away, making sure everything was secure. Once the guns were in their cases, you left them near Switzerland's guns outside. There was no where in the house to put them. Liechtenstein ran ahead of you as you both made your way inside the house. She ran to Switzerland to let him know all about you and your amazing work. You stood there, trying to hide the smile on your face. It was no use. Switzerland sat her down on the couch, trying to understand the words coming out of her mouth.
"I'm telling you big broder! She shot 29 out of 30 birds on level 3!" You looked down at your feet, trying to be as unnoticeable as possible. You noticed as Switzerland's head popped up and he stared at you.
"She…29…out of 30? Is this true ___?" You looked up to answer him.
"Well…I guess."
"What do you mean you guess? It's 100% true. You're truly amazing." You smiled at Liechtenstein.
"Thank you, Lily." Your whole body was heating up as you were blushing. Switzerland walked up to you, and he was really close.
"Next week. If you can come over, you need to show me. No one had ever been this good with my automatic training system. Especially girls your age."
"Well, thank you both for the compliments. I really appreciate them. But…I'm hungry. Can we make chocolate now?"
"Oh but of course!" Liechtenstein grabbed your hand and led you to the kitchen. You'd forgotten where everything was since you hadn't been to their place in years. You watched as Liechtenstein grabbed all the baking materials and put them on the counter, along with tons of cocoa beans. She and Switzerland explained how to make chocolate, step by step. It took a while to prepare the chocolate, and you were really hungry. By the time the chocolate was done, you devoured as much of it as you could without trying to look like a pig. You couldn't hide it, though. Liechtenstein bursted out laughing as you tired covering your mouth. You even made Switzerland chuckle a little. His smile made your day.
"That was really good chocolate. That doesn't come coos to how much I loved this chocolate. It's incredible!" They both thanked you, and you continued to eat the left over chocolate. You helped clean up after ward, and your dad was going to pick you up. You realized that after Switzerland heard about your accomplishment, he was more involved with you two, and he had more expression. You liked this Switzerland. Your dad honked his horn, and Liechtenstein and Switzerland helped carry your things to the car. They also said hello to your dad, letting him know about how well they were and what not. You'd almost forgotten your backpack, so you ran back inside to get it. Switzerland head in the house a few seconds after you had; he was looking for you. He saw you in the living room look for your backpack.
it wasn't in the living room; it was in Liechtenstein's room. He put it there while you two were outside. He went to go get it, and  you walked the same direction a few seconds later, not noticing he was in the house. You looked in each room, hoping to find Liechtenstein's. You looked into the 2nd door on your left, and it was a beige room. There were butterflies on the walls, and it was definitely her room. After looking behind you, you turned your head forward and you were right in front of Switzerland. You two were so extremely close, and soon, both your faces were red.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry!" You quickly backed up, trying to leave space between you both.
"N-no, I'm sorry for startling you like that. I should've said something when I saw you in the living room looking for your bag."
"I-it's alight. You don't need to apologize for anything."
"Well, I do. You didn't know I was in the house, and I should've just told you that your bag was in here."
"Don't worry Vash. It's okay, really."
"Not really. I-"
"___, your dad's waiting for you outside." Liechtenstein was at the door.
"Oh, right. Your bag. Here ___." Switzerland handed you your backpack.
"T-thank you, Vash." You gave him a polite smile before exiting the room with the two behind you. "Goodbye guys! Thanks for the chocolate!"
"Bye ___! Anytime!" You rolled up the window after your dad drove off, and Liechtenstein and Switzerland made their way into the house. Once she closed the door, she slowly turned around to face Switzerland. She just stared at him.
"W-what? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Oh, no reason." She had a smirk on her face while walking past him to her room.
"Really, what is it?"
"Nothing, big broder." She closed the door in her room, and he stood there, thinking about what she could've been thinking. He shook his head and walked to his room. He couldn't stop thinking about you that night, and that's how he fell asleep. His head was full of thoughts of only you; and now he couldn't believe it. He was the one thinking about you at school, at his job, when practicing his shooting. He never realized how amazing you really were.
Uhh...who requested the Switzerland Story again? (._. )' ...Well...you know who you are ;D Please comment if you were the one. ...Enjoy! :)
